The farm in Cugnoli, intersected by the Regio Tratturo L’Aquila-Foggia trail, has 17 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 200-250 metres, divided into several plots with varying exposure and chemical and physical properties. It goes from north-facing hilly terrain, rich in clay and limestone where we grow the Trebbiano, Pecorino and Malvasia varieties, as well as our selection of an old native variety, Bombino. Then there are flat clayey-sandy plots with 5-10% stone content, through to hilly soil rich in clay and silt facing southeast, where we grow Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
